Fugue State Films was founded in 2007 by Will Fraser and Simon Still. We brought together our existing companies, our libraries of film productions, and our more than twenty years of experience.

We specialise in documentary, promotional and educational films on a wide variety of subjects. Our work has taken us around the world. In 2007 alone we filmed in England, the USA, Mexico, Holland, France and Germany. Our clients include leading universities such as Oxford and Cambridge, but we have also worked for private individuals and small businesses.

We are innovative in finding new ways to finance films and bring them to their audience, especially using the internet. If a story is compelling, we are happy to film in locations far from the beaten track. We are one of the only production companies to specialise in producing music-related documentary films for release as part of a CD/DVD package.

We are able to create vibrant and exciting films for a wide range of purposes. We bring to each project the planning, technical standards and work-ethic of a television production, while working with the independence and flexibility of a small company.
